Become an Aboriginal Health Worker
Wirraka Maya Health Service can assist people wanting to become an Aboriginal Health Worker.
This qualification allows you to work within a team as an Aboriginal Health Worker. It provides the knowledge and skills that allow you to apply primary health care principals in both their clinical setting or community outreach programs.
Within the qualification, you will undertake placements within a primary health care setting to allow the practical application of what has been learnt in the classroom.
Successful completion of Certificate IV allows you to confidently undertake the Diploma in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice HL T50213 or the Diploma in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care HL T50113
