Expression of Interest: Educational Film for Kids

IBN is working with the Dyslexia-SPEL Foundation of WA to create an exciting educational program to help IBN children improve their reading and literacy skills.

Part of this project will be a short film that will teach children the value of everyday language-based activities when learning to read and write. Scenes in the film might include identifying print when out and about e.g. in shops and playing word games with family to build vocabulary.

We are looking for families that would like to be involved. Filming will take place during mid-March in South Hedland. Families can be made up of parents, grandparents or other caregivers and children aged 5 to 8 years old. Ideally family groups of 3 to 4 people.

If you or your family would like to be involved in this important project please contact Glenda Dawson, IBN Education Field Officer, on 1800 014 401 or

Expressions of Interest will close at 5:00pm Tuesday, January 28, 2019.
