6.1 Income-tested Assistance
Helping those most at risk when times get tough, this program assists members facing severe, unexpected financial hardship or emergency.
This program can assist with food, telephone bills and rental assistance (for members at risk of eviction) when other help is not available. To ensure IBN’s resources continue to be available to those most in need this program requires proof of financial hardship. Members who make continued applications under this program will be referred for financial counselling.
