A position is now vacant on the IBN Board for a Nyiyaparli representative, for a term of 4 years. The IBN Board is Trustee for the Charitable Trust and for IBN Corporation operations and services.
In accordance with Clause 6.2 of the IBN Constitution, the Niapaili Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) board invite expressions of interests, from suitably qualified applicants.
To be considered for a position on the IBN Board, candidates should address the following selection criteria:
1. A member of Niapaili Aboriginal Corporation;
2. Of good reputation with appropriate professional or business qualifications to effectively carry out the functions of a Director;
3. Have previous board experience (and/or governance qualifications eg, AICD)
4. Can manage perceived or actual conflicts of interest.
The corporation directorships receive a salary, with travel and associated expenses provided. Directors are required to undertake regular travel to Perth and the Pilbara for board meetings.
