IBN Board member, Geoff Parnell, has been appointed chair of IBN subsidiary company Indigenous Mining Services Pty Ltd (IMS). IMS has been providing labour hire and facility management services in the Pilbara region since 1998.
Geoff possesses extensive board and executive experience with a strong background in facility management having previously owned a national facilities management business. A past national chair and life member of the Facility Management Association of Australia, Geoffs skillset and experience is strongly aligned with the IMS business and strategic vision.
In August IMS acquired CFC Pty Ltd, a very successful facility management business in Newman that has substantially diversified IMS’s customer base and the services IMS can provide.
IMS has also recently developed a new strategic plan that aligns with the IBN strategic plan and the resultant initiatives and opportunities, including the recent acquisition, were an exciting development for IBN that will enhance its service delivery capabilities to existing and new clients along with opportunities for staff, member employment and the potential to provide a sound return to IBN.
