Health and Wellbeing
Good health is the key to building strong families and communities. The Health and Wellbeing Program supports the IBN Community during times of illness and provides extra support to Elders and people with disabilities.

3.1 General Health and 3.2 Dental Health
These programs provide support for members and dependent children for a range of medical or dental expenses as prescribed by a doctor or dentist.
Benefits Up to $10,000 per financial year for General Health
Benefits Up to $10,000 per financial year for Dental Health

3.3 Medical and Dental Travel
This program provides up to $15,000 per financial year (including dependent children) for medical or dental travel expenses, if not available through PATS or other providers.
Applications for travel are required no later than four days prior to travel.

3.4 Home Support for Elderly and Infirm
This program provides benefits for IBN Elders (55 years and over) or members with mobility problems to pay for HACC meals and Mobility Aids (as required), and up to $10,000 per financial year for accessibility modifications to a home or vehicle.

Note: All Dependent Children must be registered with IBN using the Dependent Child Advice Form and only the parent or legal carer of a dependent child may apply for benefits to assist the child.
