I want to share an update on IMS business activities.

IMS has restructured its Hedland operations and is currently mobilising a facility maintenance Hub in Wedgefield. Rennie Tai has been appointed as General Manager having previously served as the Operations Manager at the Newman Hub.   The grounds maintenance team that Kara Hawke set up will be a key element of the Hub’s service delivery capability, with Kara now reporting to Rennie.

 Current and new customers have positively embraced the Hub approach, and IMS is anticipating an increase in the size of the local team in Wedgefield.

 IMS has begun recruiting key tradespeople, and the service delivery team is expected to be in place by the second week of June.  The focus is to employ local key trades, including electricians, carpenters, plumbers, HVAC technicians and Trade Assistants. Later this year, the Hub will employ its first apprentice.
