A key strategic decision has been made by the IBN Board to move our Member Services Assessor function from South Hedland to our Perth office.
By expanding our newly established Member Service team in Perth we will improve the team’s collaboration with our Finance team. We believe this will deliver more efficient processing of Member applications.
Importantly, this decision was made in direct response from ongoing consultation and feedback from members. We know Members want us to be able to perform these tasks more efficiently.
These structural changes have been supported by independently sourced advice from organisational structure and business efficiency specialists.
All affected staff have been consulted with and some have accepted redundancies after deciding to not to relocate to Perth. We have secured a new office in Perth for the growing team and expect the Member application processing function to be established in Perth by 3 February 2025.
We have additional resources in place to assess Member applications, ensuring there will be no impact to Members outside of our Christmas closure dates.
