At the Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation’s AGM in February 2024, members voted for a new NAC logo. The current logo is considered dated and needs to incorporate the updated spelling of Nyiyaparli.
The winner of the design selected will receive $1000.
Who is Eligible to Enter?
- Individuals who identify as Nyiyaparli and are recognised as Nyiyaparli by their local community are eligible to enter.
- Entrants under the age of 16 years of age must obtain written consent from their guardian.
Competition Guidelines
- The design must incorporate ‘NAC’, or the words ‘Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation’.
- Cultural appropriation (using traditional artwork without permission) is not permitted.
- There are no colour restrictions for the design.
- The design should be clear and maintain its appearance and clarity when resized.
How to Submit your Entry
- Artwork can be submitted by email to nac@ibngroup.au
- Designs must be scanned and in a PDF format.
- If your design is selected, the original drawing may be requested.
Condition of Entry
- Entries will not be accepted if they;
- Are Disrespectful.
- Contain inappropriate content.
Include political or religious content.
Selection Process
The winning design will be selected by an independent community member and IBN staff. The artist of the winning design will be announced at NAC’s AGM in November 2024.
Privacy and Personal Information
Entrant’s personal details will be handled responsibility and will only be used for the logo design competition. The winner’s name, however, and their suburb/town of residence will be publicised when the winner is announced.
