The Solid Connections Program aims to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants with an opportunity to discover new skills and explore career pathways in the Care and Support Workforce.

GATTEC102: Apply Basic Digital Literacy for Training And
Workplace Purposes*
Dates: Wed 15th and Thurs 16th May 2024

HLTAID011: Provide First Aid*
Dates: Wed 8th, Thurs 9th May 2024

LWADEV102: Plan Personal Development and Care Needs*
Dates: Mon 13th and Tues 14th May 2024
Time: 8:30am – 2:00pm
Location: North Regional TAFE – Pundulmurra (South Hedland) Campus

KAMS will provide the following services.

  • School friendly hours
  • Transport
  • Fee-free training
  • Morning tea and lunch provided
  • In class support
  • Opportunity to upskill
  • Support to meet the minimum requirements prior to being enrolled in any formal training or employment

TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU MUST BE: 

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
