Program 1.1: Purchasing Card

The IBN Purchasing Card assists IBN members and families with essential household bills and other living expenses.

IBN is excited to be making a Household Essentials Purchasing Card available to its members. This will make it easier for you to access your money.

 

Benefits: Up to $5,000 per financial year.
Eligibility: All IBN members (subject to conditions).
AVAILABLE items: Costs related to running a household or for personal living expenses.

Items NOT available
  • Hire cars
  • Fines, bankruptcy expenses, taxes or debts
  • Rental and hotel bonds
  • Mortgage payments and home deposits
  • Donations
  • Gaming equipment (e.g. Playstation, Xbox)
  • Foxtel and online subscriptions (e.g. Netflix)
  • Cigarettes, alcohol and gambling (e.g. Lotto)
  • Weapons
  • Recreational vehicles (e.g. quad bikes, boats, jet skis).
